| This basic level puppy training class will focus on the essentials of positive reinforcement training while your puppy learns basic obedience cues; focus, sit, down, stay, come, and loose leash walking. Canine Good Citizen® - Class (Age: 6 months and over) |

The Canine Good Citizen® (CGC) program is designed to reward dogs who have good manners and stresses responsible pet ownership. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test are eligible to receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. The CGC program lays the foundation for other activities such as obedience, agility, tracking, and therapy work. Dogs that have a solid obedience education are a joy to live with; they respond well to household routines and have good manners in the presence of people and other dogs. The CGC program is one of the most rapidly growing programs in the American Kennel Club. The program is already having a positive impact and assures that the dogs we love will always be welcomed, well-respected members of our communities. We recommend completion of Level 1 obedience (or equivalent) prior to enrolling in this class. The CGC test will be administered during the final class session. If your dog has already mastered the skills evaluated during the Canine Good Citizen® (CGC) test, you are welcome to register for the test, without attending the CGC class. If you and your dog do not pass the test, it can be retaken at a 50% discount or 50% of the test fee can be applied to the Canine Good Citizen® - Class. | Are you expecting a baby? When the baby arrives, you and your dog's life will drastically change. Dogs are stressed by change, so it is important to plan in advance to minimize the stress and ensure your 4-legged kid will accept your 2-legged child. This private, in home session, will provide you with extremely valuable information on what to do and what not to do both before and after your baby's arrival. |

| If you feel there aren't enough hours in the day to workout, train your dog, and exercise your dog, this class is for you. Join us for an hour of creative drills and games that provide you the opportunity to practice obedience cues with your dog, while you both receive a workout and have a great time doing it. Not only will you be building your muscles and stamina, you will also be building your relationship with your dog. This class is bound to make you laugh. All levels are welcome. We will customize the class to meet you and your dog's needs. This class is really fun in groups, so bring a family member, friend, and/or your dog's favorite playmate. |

Learn to Dog Paddle (Age: 3 months and over) |

| Do you want to teach your dog to swim and enjoy the water? Not sure how to get started? This class covers the basics of teaching your dog how to dog paddle in a safe and fun environment. Not all dogs are ready to take the plunge and swim after a single session, but you will learn how to gradually increase your dog's confidence, passion for the water, and desire to swim. Multi-session packages are available. |

Stand Up Paddleboard With Your Dog (Age: 6 months and over) |

Do you and your dog love the water? Looking for a unique way to spend time with your dog? Bring your 4-legged friend along for a stand up paddleboard adventure on Mission Bay. Don't be intimidated, stand up paddleboard is incredibly fun for anyone who likes the water. We will introduce you and your dog to the paddleboard on land and then proceed with balance training in the shallows. After a brief paddling lesson, we are off to explore Mission Bay. Each 2-hour session is reserved for just you and your dog. Group classes are available by request. We provide the paddleboard, paddle, and life vests (human and canine); no previous stand up paddleboard experience is required. |

Surf Dog (Age: 6 months and over) |

Does your dog love the water and playing in the waves? Are you ready to take it to the next level? This class teaches the fundamentals of dog surfing while increasing your dog's balance and strength. After introducing your dog to the surfboard on land, we will proceed with balance training in the shallows. When your dog is comfortable and confident on the board, we will hit the waves. Your dog will be hanging twenty in no time. If you are a land lubber, but have always wanted to try surfing, we can also incorporate human surf lessons into the session. Our instructors are experienced in both human and doggie surf instruction. This session is about building trust and having fun with your dog, all while enjoying the beauty of San Diego. Each 2-hour session is reserved for just you and your dog. Group classes are available by request. We provide the surfboard and canine life vest; no previous surfing experience is required. |

| Does your dog already know how to swim and love the water? This class introduces you and your dog to various water sports skills and challenges. Behaviors introduced include: swimming with a human, swimming through weave markers, basic retrieve and delivery tasks, underwater retrieves, tow work, and platform jumping. To keep the sessions fun for you and your dog, these skills are integrated with games and contests. If your dog is training for the Portuguese Water Dog or Newfoundland water work trials, let us know, and we can customize the exercises to mimic the breed specific water work tests. Multi-session packages are available. |

| Has your dog mastered the Water Sports - Level 1 behaviors and is now ready for new challenges? This class builds on the behaviors learned in Level 1. Skills covered include: multiple article retrieves, delivery between multiple people and/or objects, delivery to a zone, advanced tow work, submersions, and diving. If your dog is training for the Portuguese Water Dog or Newfoundland water work trials, let us know, and we can customize the exercises to mimic the breed specific water work tests.
